I wanted to let everyone know that I won’t be teaching any of my classes this week and post a short update on the last few day’s events…
My wife and sons were in a car accident Thursday night. Thankfully all will be ok. My wife was extracted from the wreck and airlifted to a trauma center where she underwent surgery to close a large laceration to her head. CT scans show no internal bleeding and she is lucid now and doing very well. After being checkout out thoroughly, our sons were released friday morning with only bruises and minor lacerations. My wife is suffering from a concussion and also has a fractured leg which may require additional surgery, however we feel so incredible fortunate that everyone is ok.
I wanted to thank our truly wonderful friends and family for the incredible amount of help and loving support we have been receiving. I also wanted to thank the many first responders for the amazing job they did – and for staying in continuing touch with us throughout. I’ll post more updates when I can… Barry
